“Tries to look too cute for predators to eat. It usually works.”
Its mysterious bulb produces a small amount of mythium if it dies in battle.
Strategy
- The Chloropixie is the second upgrade of the Sakura upgrade path. While quite expensive for the raw stats it brings to the board, most of its strength comes from its ability to generate mythium when it is killed either in the lane or in the common zone after the lane battle. The mythium is only given to the player once the wave is completed.
- Due to its high pressure ability, it is often very useful to pair its utilization with the Fiesta mastermind option. Due to the exceptional power of this synergy, the chances of rolling Seedlings, which can be upgraded into Chloropixies, has been reduced by 50% when playing Fiesta. While more effective with Fiesta because of the extra resource generation, it can also be used with certain units very effectively when having a little amount, such as Sky Queen and Great Boar. The usage of the Chloropixie with those units allow the maximum charge distance to be used while utilizing the health of the Chloropixie as a time buffer for the rest of your units to reach the wave while ensuring the mythium generation.
- Since the value of the Chloropixie is inefficient, it is most essential to not over invest in them and balance your worker push with the Chloropixie utilization. While having a neat ability, the player require to be extra aware of the weak wave of the unit if over invested into, wave 7 being the most terrifying wave for those little pixies.
- A more aggressive utilization of the Chloropixie can also be done during the early game. This strategy requires the player to only build the amount of Chloropixie to leak the wave and gain the maximum amount of mythium. This would be done up until wave 8 or 9. This exerce a lot of pressure on the opponent and allow you to boost your income, however, since holding a wave is not possible for the player, your ally will be himself under a lot of pressure. That is why it is recommended to ask your ally for its accord before doing this high pressure strategy.
