You can activate Treasure Hunt, which will send it away to gather mythium.
Strategy
- Pack Rats are mainly played early game for its ability, Treasure Hunt. Pack Rats generate 12
mythium per wave for its cost of 75(with Looter) whereas workers generate 1 mythium per 10 seconds.
- Mythium maths. Since the cost of 2 looters is equivalent to the cost of 3 works, we can compare their mythium efficiency assuming we Treasure Hunt every wave. The Build phase lasts about 24 wave 1 early to 43 on wave 21. Since 3 workers generate 24 mythium in 80 seconds before 10, Pack Rats would generate extra mythium if the battle phase lasts less than 50 seconds. Assuming no leaks(no fiesta player in lobby), the slowest wave 1 would be eternal wanderer which takes about 45 seconds fastest would be pyro at about 15 seconds. Waves after 1 usually average faster for eternal wanderer or bone crusher starts where DPS units are added (purely observational). Therefore, Pack rats usually generate more mythium than workers pre wave 10. More accurate comparisons can be done if average wave lengths can be collected.
- Given that workers make more mythium after 50 seconds, it is debatable if Pack Rats should be picked in a game with fiesta. It can be seen that if the eternal wanderer's partner leak, the wave would definitely last more than 50 seconds. Since Pack Rat's worth decreases as waves progresses while Worker's increases, it is highly dubious to pick Pack Rat while playing Fiesta
- Workers generate increasing mythium at about 1.1-1.8 mythium per 10 seconds as each wave pass after wave 10.
- Pack Rats are very flexible when used as supplementary mythium generation as you can choose not to Treasure Hunt in case of a long starve or on weak waves. This however require some reading/prediction as value would be lost if Treasure Hunt is opted out and you do not receive sends.
