Strategy

A Fiend is the primary swift tank for the early game as well as a good source of income.
Until you can afford a Ghost Knight, Fiends are the best send, if you need a tank for single target impact damage units such as Gateguard, Bone Crusher, Wileshroom and Millennium.
In the early game, a Fiend can deal a significant amount of pierce damage against swift/arcane armored units.
