Treant
Starts off with bonus stats, but weakens back to normal over the next few waves.
Strategy
The Treant is a very versatile unit with its two upgrade paths Tree Of Life and Tree Of Knowledge. Due to its Exuberance ability, it can solo hold wave 1 including a Snail. This makes it the cheapest safe opener. For comparison, the Gateguard is another 
100 opener, however it may or may not leak to a snail send.
In addition to holding wave 1, one can upgrade the Treant to a Tree Of Knowledge on wave 2 to almost solo hold up to wave 5 incl. When going for this strategy, one can only push to 3 workers on wave 1.
The Treant provides good stats per gold spent shortly after it is built, making it a viable unit to be built on most waves when expecting to receive a send on the same wave.
When rolling the Treant, try to look out for Sacred Steed or units with a large health pool, as they can synergise well with the upgraded forms of the Treant.
