Strategy
The entire power of the Tree of Life lies in the unit right behind it, which receives a strong health regeneration buff, healing 5% of missing health per second. Seeing that this is a relative value, always place your Tree of Life in front of a unit with a large health pool, such as Banana Haven. Strong synergies with other units to receive the buff include:
- Canopie, which starts off with 50% health, instantly profiting from the buff. Also, the Canopie comes with its own health regeneration buff, which stacks with the Devotion effect.
- Soul Gate and Hell Gate, which will not die anymore from generating units unless overly boosted by Sacred Steed or Pegasus.
- Fire Lord and Fenix, which deal more damage when offtanking and thus low on mana. The buff allows these units to better offtank and live longer, dealing peak DPS. Seeing that the Tree of Life is a melee unit, it can be tricky to achieve making the Fire Lord or Fenix offtank though.
Note that this buff cannot be combined with the buff from Lost Chieftain, as the Tree of Life itself would receive the buff instead of the boosted unit.
